SWEET BRIAR, Va. - Shenandoah University set a new school record
for field hockey goals in a game with a 6-2 non-league win Friday
afternoon at Sweet Briar.
The Hornets (7-3) broke the previous record of five goals in a
contest set earlier this season against Virginia Wesleyan by
dispatching the Vixens (1-10).
Shenandoah led 4-0 at halftime and cruised to its fourth
straight win and fifth victory in the past six matches.

Paola
Aguilar closed out the first half scoring.
Aguilar's goal was the first of two she scored on the day; she
assisted on the fifth goal of the game (by Sarah DeLuca) before
finishing off her afternoon with an unassisted tally.
Complete statistics will be available as soon as possible.
