WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Eastern Mennonite University snapped Shenandoah University's four-match women's soccer unbeaten streak with a 2-1 non-league win Wednesday night on Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium.

All of the goals came in the first half - EMU (4-5) took the insurmountable lead with Ally Brown and Jess Myers goals at 13:33 and 17:08, respectively.

Shenandoah (4-5-2) answered with a Nicole Gilbertson goal at 29:42 to cut the deficit in half, but could not get the equalizer.

The Hornets had two shots on goal and all three corners following the break; EMU held a 10-9 advantage in shots for the game.
