WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University led from start to finish
Sunday afternoon in a 12-0 USA South Conference women's soccer
victory over Peace.
Playing a completely different starting lineup in which eight of
11 players were making their first start of the season, SU (5-4-3,

from Caroline Staples, and the Hornets had all of the offense they
would need for the afternoon.
Shenandoah outshot its visitors 39-1 for the game with PC
getting its only shot late in the second half.
SU played all three of its goalkeepers and junior Brooke Strickler, who played the 15:40, made the save on that 20-yard
attempt for Peace.
Strickler also had a goal in the game, scoring an
unassisted tally in the 39th minute.
In all, 13 different women registered at least one point in the
win with Missy Volonino contributing two goals, Staples a goal and
two assists and Kirby Talbert two assists.

17 saves, with Vasilko making 10 stops in the opening 68:08.
