LANCASTER, Pa. - Shenandoah University earned its third straight women's volleyball victory with a 3-1 non-league win over Lancaster Bible Tuesday evening.

The Hornets (10-8) won their fourth straight non-league match and third straight overall with the 26-24, 25-21, 21-25, 25-14 victory over the Chargers (11-7).

The victory also comes in the first matchup between the two schools since the fall of 1989.

Junior Mary Harshman led SU to the victory with a team-high 14 kills to go along with 10 digs.

Harshman's double-double was one of two the team had on the evening. Sophomore Brook Strathy posted team-highs in assists, 29, and digs, 16.

Rachel Maki and Haley Smith backed up Harshman along the front row with 11 and 10 kills, respectively.

Emily Jones and Rachel Gross helped out the defense 15 digs each.

Shenandoah continues non-conference play with its participation in the Gallaudet Tournament Friday and Saturday. SU opens the tourney on Friday by taking on Allegheny at 4 p.m. and Salem at 6.
