WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Frostburg State made its inaugural men's lacrosse game a successful one with a 10-3 non-league win over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon on Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium.

Frostburg (1-0) led 2-1 after one, tacked on three more in the second and held Shenandoah (0-1) scoreless in the third to take total control of the contest.

After Sean Mack tied the game at 2-2 with a goal off of a Tyler Keegan assist 23 seconds into the second quarter, FSU held the Hornets without another tally until Mac Hedrick scored unassisted with 16 seconds to play in the contest.

The Bobcats scored eight straight in between those two goals, sealing their victory in the process.

Andy Luhmann led the victors with three goals while Dan Dowd added two and Devon Stailey one with two assists.

Mack had nine groundballs and was 9 for 13 at the faceoff 'x' to pace SU.
