DOVER, Del. - Wesley College scored one goal in each half to down Shenandoah University 2-0 in non-conference men's soccer action Wednesday evening.
Kyle Long scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 28th minute for Wesley (3-3-2) to keep Shenandoah (0-5-1) winless on the season.
Long then set up Dale Featherer in the 53rd minute for an insurance goal.
Shenandoah keeper James Dutcher had seven saves.
Wesley outshot SU 21-6, including 15-4 in the second half of play.
The Wolverines also earned six of the 10 corner kicks awarded in the contest.
SU returns to action on Saturday with an 11:30 non-league contest at Marymount. This game will be played at Washington-Lee High School.
