RALEIGH, N.C. - The Shenandoah University women's volleyball team earned just its third-ever victory over Greensboro College with a 3-1 USA South win Saturday afternoon at Meredith College.
Shenandoah (7-6, 3-3 USA South) was a 25-11, 25-17, 25-27, 25-18 victor over Greensboro (6-10, 2-5) in the middle match of the day.
SU had opened the day with a 3-1 defeat at the hands of host Meredith.
Junior Mary Harshman led the Hornets to the win over the Pride with a match-high 14 kills along with 16 digs and two service aces.
Sophomore Haley Smith added 10 kills with Brooke Strathy contributing 12 digs and 21 assists.
Shenandoah hit .164 for the match with GC hitting .061.
The Hornets continue USA South Conference play with a Wednesday doubleheader against nationally ranked Christopher Newport. Play begins at 5 p.m.
