WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 16 Randolph College scored four first-half goals on its way to a 7-0 ODAC men's soccer victory over Shenandoah Saturday night.
The league-leading WildCats (13-0-1, 8-0 ODAC) scored their first goal at the 5:37 mark and never looked back against SU (0-15, 0-8).
RC continued to put the pressure on the Hornets, scoring at 14:59, 16:42 and 18:39 to take the commanding 4-0 lead.
Corey Sindle had two of those goals, scoring the second and third of the half for his team, while John Adams had that initial tally.
Randolph held SU without a shot for the first 67:33 of the game and to just one corner kick on the evening.
RC scored its second half goals in the 51st, 81st and 90th minutes.
Hornets goalkeepers Rodrigo Casteriana and Daniel Martinez split the game with Casteriana making four saves in the first half and Martinez six in the second.
Carter Smith made one save in 74:29 of action for the victors.
Shenandoah is back in action on Wednesday at 4:30 in an ODAC contest at Randolph-Macon.
