WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University volleyball team wrapped up its non-conference slate Tuesday evening with a 3-0 victory over Goucher College.

After winning the opening two sets at 13 and 20, the Hornets (15-13) had to rally to top the Gophers (9-21) in the third.

Trailing 24-23 following an attack error, Shenandoah came out of a timeout to sandwich two Kaitlyn Kelley kills around a Goucher attack error to clinch the match.

Kelly, a freshman, paced the victors with a match-high 10 kills.

Junior Allie Pieper added nine and freshman Elizabeth Lamont seven as SU hit .245 for the contest.

Jasmine Callahan had 23 assists and Rachel Cerretani 15 to fuel the offense.

Defensively, Callahan, Danyelle McGrady and Brandi Griffith all had 10 digs.

The win also pushes Shenandoah past its 2013 win total.

The Hornets will attempt to qualify for the ODAC Tournament on Thursday in its regular season finale against Hollins.
