ARLINGTON, Va. - Host Marymount University scored three goals in each half on its way to a 6-0 non-league men's soccer victory over Shenandoah Wednesday evening.
The Saints (2-5) used two quick flurries to produce the offense they would need to down the Hornets (3-4).
In the first, MU scored its three goals in a span of 9:31 midway through the stanza.
In the second, the three goals came in a span of 12:15 to provide the final margin of victory.
The Saints scored the six goals on just 16 shots. In the first half, the two teams split 20 shots.
Marymount had a 2-1 advantage in corner kicks.
SU keeper Francisco Nolasco made five saves.
Shenandoah returns to ODAC play on Friday night at 6 p.m. against Emory and Henry.
