LANCASTER, Pa. - Shenandoah University continued its winning ways in volleyball Wednesday evening by sweeping a tri-match hosted by Lancaster Bible.

The Hornets (4-0) won matches over both Delaware Valley and host Lancaster Bible in impressive fashion.

In the 3-0 win over DVU (0-3), SU took just 57 minutes to sweep the Aggies at 14, 12 and 16.

Freshman Elizabeth Lamont paced the victors with a match-high nine kills while Blake Parkes and Rachel Gross added eight in support of Lamont.

Gross also had the top performance on defense, posting 10 digs.

Rachel Cerretani fueled the attack, which hit at a .356 clip, with 21 assists.

The LBC (1-4) took just 62 minutes as coach Jaime Terenzi's club won at 17, 17 and 13.

Parkes had 12 of the Hornets 38 kills with Lamont adding eight and Allie Pieper five.

Cerretani continued her strong start to the 2014 season with 31 of the team's 38 assists and also chipping in 16 digs.

Brandi Griffith led the match two defense with 18 digs.

Shenandoah travels to Muhlenberg this weekend for the Buttermaker Tournament.
