WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's soccer team concluded its 2015 season Saturday afternoon with a 4-1 ODAC loss to Randolph College.
Randolph (11-4-3, 7-1-3 ODAC) scored the final three goals of the game to pull away from Shenandoah (5-10-2, 2-7-2).
The WildCats opened the game's scoring on a Brian Anderson unassisted tally in the 10th minute before SU answered with a Matt Sweeney goal at 29:10.
Sweeney converted a Brian Maye feed to knot the contest at 1-1.
Just less than five minutes before halftime, Randolph got what proved to be the game-winning goal on a Justin Black to El Hadji Baye tally at 40:30.
The 'Cats scored at 75:59 and 88:52, the former by Anderson, to close the book on the day's scoring.
Randolph outshot SU 18-6, including 10-2 on goal, and had 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Hornets goalkeeper Keegan Fairchild had six saves in the losing effort.
Shenandoah will announce its 2016 schedule in early spring.
