WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Penn St. - Altoona scored the game's lone goal in a 1-0 non-conference men's soccer victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.

John Crist scored unassisted for the Lions (4-1) in the 26th minute to push PSU-A past Shenandoah (0-2).

The Hornets had nine shots on the Lions goal, but were unable to net the equalizer as PSU-A goalkeeper Liam Grady stopped all three shots that were on-frame.

SU goalkeeper Matt Sweeney had nine saves.

Shenandoah owned a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.

The Hornets are back in action on Wednesday in a 7 p.m. non-league contest at Marymount.
