READING, Pa. – The Shenandoah University volleyball team completed its season Saturday afternoon by splitting a non-league tri-match at Penn St. - Berks.
Shenandoah (10-18) opened with a 3-1 victory over St. Elizabeth before the host Lions swept SU, 3-0.
In the opener, SU won at 14 and 9 in the opening two sets before CSE was a 25-23 winner in the third.
Shenandoah then clinched the victory with a 25-17 triumph in the fourth.
Kaitlyn Kelley had 11 kills and Emily Cheatwood eight to lead the team offensively.
Megan Hillyard ran the offense with 21 of the squad's 36 assists.
Defensively, Nicole Shannon had 22 digs and Kelley 10.
Cheatwood also posted six blocks assisted.
PSU-B won at 25-17, 26-24, 25-17 in the second match.
Sabrina Semo had a team-high eight kills versus the Lions with Kelley and Caylin Harris each contributing five.
Hillyard had 17 assists with Shannon posting 28 digs.
Kelley and Semo were also in double figures defensively with 15 and 14 digs, respectively.
SU will announce its 2018 schedule in the spring.
