SALEM, Va. – Host Roanoke College scored one goal in each half on its way to a 2-0 ODAC women's soccer victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.
The Maroons (8-3-1, 5-0 ODAC) scored in the 30th and 53rd minutes to push past the Hornets (7-5, 2-2).
Laura Sullivan scored the game-winner on a header off of a corner kick.
RC had a 15-8 advantage in shots and 4-3 in corner kicks.
Charlotte Evans had four saves in 58 minutes with Kasey Richitt making an additional two stops in 32 minutes.
Shenandoah is back in action on Wednesday with a 4 p.m. game at Bridgewater.
