Women's Soccer Blanks Quakers

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Shenandoah University women's soccer team completed a perfect weekend with a 4-0 ODAC victory at Guilford College Sunday afternoon.

Shenandoah (8-6, 4-2 ODAC) scored a pair of goals in each half to take down the Quakers (4-8, 2-4) and finish off an undefeated weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED

13′ | Emily Yergin gave the Hornets a 1-0 lead early on  when she cleaned up a lose ball in the box. This goal was her 13th of the season.

33′ | Senior Rebecca Collimore's first shot was saved by Guilford's goalie, Aubrey Gunther. After the save the Quakers tried to counter but Collimore took control and scored from 25 yards out.

81′ | Yergin scored her second goal of the day by beating a defender from 15 yards out.

86′ | A Guilford foul allowed Abbie Marquette to take advantage of a free kick, scoring from 20 yards out.
