Box Score WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Roanoke College defeated SU 1-0 in the last ODAC women's soccer regular-season match on Saturday afternoon.
Roanoke (7-5-4, 6-2-2 ODAC) scored off of a free kick in the 77th minute to clinch the win over the Hornets (9-9, 5-5).
The Maroons earn the sixth seed over SU in the upcoming ODAC Tournament thanks to the win.

77′ | On a free kick 30 yards from the goal, Jillian Barnard scored the only goal of the match. Barnard's shot through traffic trickled past Hannah Bateman and inside the left post to give the Maroons a 1-0 lead.

The Hornets finished up their regular season sitting as the No. 7 seed for ODAC tournament play. SU has a Halloween contest at second-seeded Virginia Wesleyan, in the opening round of the tournament.
