ASHLAND, Va. - Second-seeded Randolph-Macon advanced on penalty kicks following a 1-1 tie with No. 7 Shenandoah in the ODAC Women's Soccer Tournament quarterfinals Wednesday afternoon.
Shenandoah (9-9-1) was able to hold the Yellow Jackets (11-1-3) scoreless in the first half before allowing a goal four minutes into second half play. As regulation was winding down, senior Rebecca Collimore scored in the 89th minute to send the contest into overtime.
After two scoreless overtime periods, Randolph-Macon netted four PKs to the Hornets three to go on to the next round. The Yellow Jackets will face No. 3 Lynchburg who defeated No. 6 Washington and Lee 2-1 in 2OT. Macon clinched on a diving save on Shenandoah's final attempt.

89′ | Rebecca Collimore tied the game up with a minute to spare. Collimore took a free kick from 40 yards out and her shot skimmed off the keeper's hands into the back of the net.

This was the second time SU and R-MC have met in the ODAC Tournament. In 2015, the Hornets defeated the Yellow Jackets 1-0 in the quarterfinals at Shenandoah as the seeding was reversed.
