WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Hampden-Sydney College in an ODAC matchup Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers (3-3-1, 2-1 ODAC) scored two back-to-back goals in the 32nd and 34th minutes of the match. The Hornets (3-4-1, 0-2) scored in the 38th minute to cut the difference in half, but weren't able to connect on another scoring opportunity.

38′ | Matthew Stoltzfus scored in a break-away play beating the Tiger's defense and slipping his shot past the H-SC goalie from nine yards out. Stoltzfus' goal cut the deficit to one.

32′ | Cody Burgos scored off a cross from the right side of the net. Hunter Weiland was credited with the assist.
34′ | Niko Reinson served a corner kick to the center of the box, Jacob Siler tracked the ball and volleyed it in for the score. Siler's goal put the Tigers up 2-0.
UP NEXT
The Hornets are back in action this Wednesday at 7 p.m. at home. The men take on Wesley in their last non-conference game of the 2018 season.
