Women's Soccer Claws 'Cats

Box Score

WINCHESTER, Va. - Women's soccer used a strong and balanced offensive effort Saturday night to defeat Randolph College 5-1 in its first ODAC match of the 2018 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

SU

02′ | Taylor Morris played the ball from midfield into the attacking end, Emily Yergin was able to beat a single defender and the goalie for the first goal of the game.

QUOTES FROM COACH

"This was a well-balanced win," head coach Liz Pike said. "We were able to get players off the bench for valuable experience and playing time. A lot of women were able find the back of the net and be involved offensively. We are going to use tonight's experience to prepare for these upcoming ODAC matchups."
