Hockey Takes Down Randolph-Macon

Hornets Win, 4-1

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Field Hockey team earned a 4-1 ODAC victory over visiting Randolph-Macon on Wednesday night. 

The Hornets (10-3, 3-1 ODAC) put themselves ahead 3-0 before the Yellow Jackets (6-6, 2-2) were able to get on the board.

SU 03:54 | A Shenandoah corner set up a Taylor Hayes goal from Kelsey Jones

SU 07:24 | Hayes sent a pass to Natalie Fyock, her backhand sweep found its way past the R-MC keeper.

SU 18:05 | Lauren Tyre cleaned up a loose ball for the third goal of the game.

R-MC 40:42 | Katie Tanner assisted on an Ayanna Healy goal. 

SU 59:23 | Kelsey Jones dribbled her through the entire 'Jackets defense to score the final goal of the contest.
