WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team opened up its 2019-20 season Saturday afternoon with an 8-1 non-league loss at Catholic University of America.

Aidan Steinly was the lone winner for SU (0-1) with a 6-2, 6-7 (8) 1-0 (10-8) win at No. 2 singles over Eric Macarski.

The Cardinals (3-1) took a 3-0 lead after doubles with 8-4, 8-6 and 8-0 wins at Nos. 1 through 3, respectively.
