Women's Soccer Falls in Round One of ECAC Tournament

Drop 1-0 Decision to Pfeiffer

WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Shenandoah University women's soccer team saw its season come to an end with a 1-0 loss to Pfeiffer 1-0 the first round of the ECAC Women's Soccer Championship Saturday afternoon.

Meredith Manson scored in the 60th minute for the Falcons (12-4-0)  to end the Hornets (11-8) season .

HOW IT HAPPENED

PFE 59:08 |  Manson scored an unassisted goal to claim a win for Pferiffer to advance to the quarterfinal match.

MATCH NOTES

  • The Hornets outshot the Falcons 12-8

  • Four SU shots were on goal.

  • SU had a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks

  • Emilie Smith only saw two shots on goal today, making one stop.
