WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's basketball team opened up its ODAC slate Saturday afternoon with a 101-95 victory over Emory & Henry.

The win is the 100
th of Shenandoah (2-2, 1-0 ODAC) head coach
Adam Walsh' collegiate coaching career and the 101 points scored is the most since a 113-98 victory over Methodist University on January 24, 2010.

In a game that featured 12 lead changes and eight ties, the Hornets took the lead for good over E&H (2-3, 0-1) with a
Jalen Hill stickback with 5:40 to play.

Hill's bucket, one of five he had on the day, gave SU an 82-80 lead.

Shenandoah maintained the lead the rest of the contest, but did not truly clinch the contest until Avery Green drained a 3-pointer with 1:45 to put the Hornets up by eight, 96-88.

E&H did not get any closer than five points the rest of the way.

Sophomore
Harry Wall, who had a career-high 16 points, was 4-of-4 from the line down the stretch to help close out the victory.

Wall was 11-of-12 from the charity stripe on the day.

Senior
Christopher Chaney led the victors in the scoring column with 28 points and also added 13 rebounds. The Hornets ended with a 44-41 advantage on the glass.
