SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The Shenandoah University women's basketball team saw its five-game winning streak come to an end with a 62-32 non-league loss to No. 23 Loras Thursday afternoon at the Puerto Rico Classico.

Jordan Sondrol provided a highlight for the Hornets (5-3) by scoring her 1000
th career point on a layup with 6:50 to play.

Sondrol is the first SU player to hit the SU player to hit the 1000-point mark since Kirstyn Arcata '18 did it on January 27, 2018. Sondrol is the 20
th woman in program history to hit the century mark.
Loras (8-1), which advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 last season, scored 15 of the initial 19 points of Thursday's contest to take total control.
The Duhawks led 17-6 after one and 37-14 at the break.
Trailing 52-20 heading into the fourth, Shenandoah scored 12 of the final 22 points of the contest.
