LEXINGTON, Va. – The Shenandoah University baseball team won its second game in as many days with an 8-6 ODAC victory at Washington and Lee Wednesday afternoon.

Shenandoah (12-7, 6-5 ODAC) broke a 5-5 tie with three runs in the seventh to down W&L (11-14, 5-9).

IN BRIEF

Tyler Kroll, who finished 4-for-5 with two RBI, put the Hornets on top to stay with a two-out infield single to score Tristan Baker from third.

Baker had drawn a one-out walk and advanced to third on a wild pitch.

Keegan Woolford put SU up by three runs one batter after Kroll's single with a two-run home run to right.

The blast is his second of the season.

Michael Robst got the win with 1 2/3 innings of relief work. Robst (1-1) came on for freshman Calvin Pastel in the sixth and did not allow a run on three hits in recording the four outs.
