WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's tennis team earned its second ODAC win of the season Tuesday with a 7-2 victory over Sweet Briar.
Shenandoah (4-5, 2-4 ODAC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead over the Vixens (2-10, 0-5) by sweeping the doubles and then clinched with wins at Nos. 4 and 6 singles.

Madison Hoilman had the match-clinching win for the Hornets, taking out My-Xuan Hillengas 6-2, 6-3 at No. 6. She was in position to clinch as Megan Hillyard was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 4 in the first singles match to be completed.
Hoilman, Hillyard, Madison Rogers and Caitlin Bennett were all double winners for SU.
Bennett and Hoilman had combined to win 8-3 at No. 3 doubles with Bennett winning her No. 5 singles match in three sets.
Rogers also took an extra set to win her singles match, winning 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) at No. 2. She got her first win with an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles with Emma Crue.
Hillyard and Madison Hansen were 8-6 victors at No. 1 doubles.
