SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team completed its Puerto Rico trip Wednesday morning with a 20-6 victory over Wheaton (Mass.).

The Hornets (7-0) scored the first seven goals of the game against the Lyons (3-1) and held a 10-3 lead at the break.
IN BRIEF
A 3-0 run to start the second gave SU a 10-goal advantage for the first time, and after Wheaton cut the deficit to nine at 20:19, the Hornets started another 3-0 run one minute later that gave the victors a double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest.

Shenandoah scored the final four goals of the contest.

Emma Stiffler and
Alyson Bittinger once again led SU in scoring with four goals each with
Hayle Kyte and Kaitlin Morris both recording a hat trick.

Ashley MacFarlane played all 60 minutes in the goal and had five saves.

The Hornets outshot Wheaton 36-23, had a 27-23 advantage in groundballs and won 17 of 27 draw controls.
