GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Shenandoah University men's basketball team completed its participation in the Purplestride Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Classic Sunday with a 71-62 loss to tournament host Gwynedd Mercy.

The Griffins (2-0) had a five-point, 26-21, halftime lead and then held on versus Shenandoah (0-2) to secure the victory.

Williams led all scorers with 20 points while Adams added 11.
