Men's Soccer Battles to Scoreless Tie

Goalies Combine for Five Saves in Double Overtime Contest

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's soccer team completed its busy weekend Sunday by battling Eastern Mennonite to a scoreless tie in ODAC action.
 
Shenandoah (0-3-1, 0-2-1 ODAC) and the Royals (0-4-1, 0-3-1) played 90 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of golden goal overtime with neither able to find the back of the net.

IN BRIEF

The two teams combined for 13 shots on goal and 16 corner kicks with the Hornets holding an 8-5 advantage in the shots category and the two teams splitting those 16 corners.
 
Sam Fischer played the initial 77:40 in goal and had three saves before giving way to Dylan Johnson for the final 32:20.
 
Johnson made two stops.
