WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Emory & Henry was strong from top to bottom in an 8-1 ODAC women's tennis victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.

The Wasps (2-1, 1-1 ODAC) won took all eight of their victories in straight sets to dispatch the Hornets (0-2, 0-2).

Shenandoah got its win at No. 3 singles, where
Kelly Hudak battled back from a 6-2 loss in the opening set to win the second, 6-2, and then the super tiebreak, 10-2.

Madison Rogers had a close match at No. 4, falling 6-4, 7-5.

Hudak and Rogers also had the closest doubles match in an 8-5 loss at No. 2.

Shenandoah is off for the next eight days and returns to the court on Monday, Mar. 29 for a 4 p.m. home match versus ODAC rival Bridgewater.
