Men's Lacrosse Takes Down Mighty Macs

MALVERN, Pa.  - The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team dominated Immaculata, 16-5, in a non-league contest Saturday afternoon.

The Hornets (2-0) offense proved to be too much for the Mighty Macs (0-1) right from the start. Jason Morgan's goal 8:50 into the game ignited what proved to be seven straight SU goals to start the contest.

IN BRIEF

Shenandoah scored the initial seven goals of the contest before letting Immaculata on the board in the second quarter at the 10:31 mark.

After the Mighty Macs scored two straight, SU and IU went on to trade the next five goals.

Shenandoah went into the break with a 9-3 advantage.

Following halftime, Steven Long scored for the hosts before Shenandoah went on to score the seven of the final eight goals of the game.
