HARRISONBURG, Va. – No. 15 Shenandoah University completed a regular season sweep of its ODAC baseball series versus Eastern Mennonite with a 10-2 win at EMU Tuesday afternoon.

Shenandoah (22-7, 15-4 ODAC) hit two home runs and got a stellar pitching performance from
Calvin Pastel in dispatching the Royals (6-11, 6-11).Â

Henry Delavergne hit a solo home run in the third and
Frankie Ritter a two-run shot in the fourth as the Hornets jumped out to a 7-0 lead.

The seven-run advantage was more than enough for Pastel (4-1). The sophomore scattered seven hits over seven innings and allowed one run while walking one and striking out four.

Cade Templeton pitched the eighth and ninth, struck out two and allowed one run on two hits.

SU pounded out 12 hits in the win with Ritter and
Haden Madagan both contributing three hits each. Madagan had three RBI on singles in the third and seventh and a sacrifice fly to center in the ninth.

Delavergne was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. His solo shot to left lead off the Shenandoah third.
