GREENSBORO, N.C. – Host Guilford College continued its strong start to the 2021 ODAC men's tennis season with a 7-2 victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.
 
After the Quakers (5-1, 4-1 ODAC) took a 2-1 lead following doubles, GC closed out the match by winning all but No. 3 singles versus Shenandoah (5-2, 2-2). 

IN BRIEF

Darian Diaz had that No. 3 singles win for SU with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 win over Elijah Gregory.
 
Keith Orr and Vitali Rivera, who were 8-6 winners at No. 1 doubles, had a pair of close matches in singles.
 
Orr fell 7-5, 7-6 (3) at No. 1 and Rivera 6-4, 6-7 (4), 2-6 at No. 2.
 
GC dropped just a combined five games in winning the final three singles matches.
