BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team saw its spring 2021 season end Tuesday afternoon with a 2-0 loss at Bridgewater College in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinals.

Second-seeded Bridgewater (9-1) scored one goal in each half to eliminate the seventh-seeded Hornets (3-6).

Kristen Fisher, who headed the ball past Eagles keeper Sydney Davis.

Unfortunately for the Hornets, Fisher's header glanced off the left post and out.

SU made Davis make a save in the 67
th minute (off of a Cook shot) and
Abbie Marquette missed just wide from 25 yards out in the 80
th minute.

Bridgewater scored its insurance goal with 4:33 remaining.

BC outshot SU, 21-9, and had a 5-3 advantage in corners.
