FREDERICK, Md. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team earned its third win of the season Thursday evening with a 3-2 non-league victory at Hood College.

Shenandoah (3-4) scored the only goal of the first half before splitting four second half goals with the Blazers (0-5).

Chandler Gallant scored that initial goal of the contest by staying with the play after seeing her penalty kick saved and knocking the rebound past HC keeper Gabi Dolan.

Hood tied the game 10 minutes into the second half, but SU answered with a pair of goals just 65 seconds apart to take a lead it would not relinquish.

Emma Bauer set up both goals, feeding
Jordan Haack at 62:31 to put the Hornets back on top before finding
Elizabeth McGee at 63:36 for what proved to be the game-winning goal.

Shenandoah outshot the Blazers, 15-4, and took five of the six corners awarded.

Karissa Dominick made one save in the win.
