LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University volleyball team split an ODAC tri-match at Randolph College Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (4-8, 1-3Â ODAC) swept Hollins, 3-0, before dropping the match to the host WildCats by the same score.

HOLLINS MATCH RECAP
The Hornets earned their first ODAC win of the 2021 season with a 3-0 sweep of Hollins University in the opening match of the day. SU won at 14, 19, and 15 over Hollins (1-8, 0-3).
Shenandoah snapped a four-match losing streak with a .178 hitting performance against HU; SU had at least 12 kills in each of the three sets and had a match-high 14 in the clinching third.

Sophomore
Jillian Warter had 15 of the squad's 38 kills with
Kate Poppo adding eight along with a team-high 14 digs.

Natalie Reader backed up Poppo with 13 digs.

Playing a 6-2 offensive system,
Brooke Wagner had 13 assists and
Caitlyn Houck 12.
RANDOLPH MATCH RECAP
Randolph (6-6, 2-2 ODAC) finished its perfect day by downing the Hornets 25-22, 25-11, 25-15 in the final match of the afternoon.
Shenandoah hit .072 (27-19--111) to .183 (36-16--109) for the 'Cats.
Warter had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs with Poppo adding 15 digs and Reader 12.
Wagner had a co-match-high 16 assists.
