WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 13 Shenandoah University kept its ODAC field hockey record perfect on the season with a 10-0 home victory over Ferrum College Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (13-1, 4-0 ODAC) dominated from start to finish versus the Panthers (3-9, 0-4).

Lauren Tyre opened the scoring with an unassisted tally 4:31 in, and SU was off to the races. The Hornets scored five goals in the first, two each in the second and third, and one in the fourth to keep its ODAC record perfect on the season.
Shenandoah outshot Ferrum, 36-1, including 24-0 in the opening 30 minutes of play. The Panthers had their lone shot in the third quarter with SU goalie
Taylor Bullis making the stop to preserve the shutout.
Eight different women scored goals with
Cassidy Morrison and
Kaitlyn Hertz scoring two each.
Kate Robinson had two assists.
Claudia Lenahan,
Mairead Mckibbin,
Farren Winter,
Elizabeth Ranberger, and
Abbey Ritter joined Tyre in scoring single goals.
The Hornets also took all 16 of the game's penalty corners.
NOTABLE
The 10 goals matches the Virginia Wesleyan game on Oct. 1 for Shenandoah's season high.
