IN BRIEF
The Eagles, on the strength of goals in the 17
th and 53
rd minutes, held a 2-0 early in the second half.
The Hornets did not fold their tents, however, and got a pair of
Nathan Yared goals midway through the second to bring the game back to level.
Yared, the Hornets leading scorer with 10 goals and three assists for 23 points, cut the deficit in half with an unassisted tally at 66:03.
Just three minutes later, SU was awarded a penalty kick and Yared buried the opportunity to knot the score at 2-2.
The Hornets would take three more shots after Yared's PK, but none on frame.
Bridgewater, which was outshot 14-7, had two shots in the remaining 21 minutes of play. Jett, who played all 90 minutes in goal for the hosts, made his third and final save on the second of those two BC shots.
The Hornets also had a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks.
