WINCHESTER, Va. – Perennial power Virginia Wesleyan scored two goals in each half Wednesday afternoon to take a 4-1 ODAC women's soccer victory over host Shenandoah.
Defending league champion Virginia Wesleyan (8-1-1, 4-0 ODAC) tallied 2:28 in to take a lead it would not relinquish over Shenandoah (6-3-2, 0-2).

Peyton Lubinsky got the hosts on the board with an unassisted goal at 81:32.
The Marlins answered back six minutes later to close out the game's scoring.
VWU scored its second goal at 41:55 and its third at 75:52.
Shenandoah outshot Virginia Wesleyan, 13-9, including 7-6 on frame, while the Marlins won seven of the game's 11 corners.
Karissa Dominick made two saves for the hosts. VWU keeper Rachel Quigley had six stops.
