FOREST, Va. – Sophomore
Mairead Mckibbin has been named ODAC field hockey Player of the Week for the third time this season in selections announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Mckibbin, an elementary education major, recorded five goals and three assists for 13 points in the Hornets' 3-0 week.

The Magnolia, Delaware native scored twice, including the game-winner, in Monday's 6-0 win over Wilson College. She added an assist on a
Lauren Tyre goal at the 48-minute mark as well.

Mckibbin's best performance of the week came in a 7-0 win over Stevenson Wednesday evening. She provided an assist to
Cassidy Morrison to begin the day before following that up with a hat trick. Her first two goals in the natural hat trick were tallied just 70 seconds apart from each other.

The forward/midfielder got her 13
th and final point on Saturday in a 5-4 win over Washington College. She found Morrison for a tip-in goal to tie the game at 2-2.

Mckibbin is tied for first for goals per game for Division-III field hockey with 2.00 gpg average.Â

She also leads the ODAC in goals with 16, eight ahead of the next closest player.

Field hockey is home Tuesday night at 6 p.m. against St. Mary's (Md.).
