Men’s Soccer Earns Trio of All-ODAC Selections for Third Straight Year

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team earned three All-ODAC awards, marking the third straight season that the program has had three or more representatives on the list, as announced by the league on Thursday.

Jarbin Rodriguez highlights the list with second team honors, with James Blalock and Hatim Elkhasouani earning third team honors for the Hornets. This is the first all-conference award for all three players.

Rodriguez led the team with 14 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 16 starts this season. In seven ODAC games, the forward had a pair of goals and assists. Rodriguez played in 990 minutes this season with a .542 shots on goal percentage.

Blalock, a first-year midfielder, tallied four goals this season, with three coming in ODAC play. Overall, the midfielder played in all 18 games for the Hornets, making 17 starts. Blalock had one game-winning goal, coming in the home finale against Averett.

Elkhasouani, a defender, started in every game this season and recorded one goal and an assist. The defender scored the game-winning goal in the team's 2-0 win over Roanoke in the ODAC opener. Elkhasouani led the team in minutes played at 1,555 minutes.

Shenandoah wrapped up the season with a 5-9-4 record and a 2-5-2 ODAC record.
