NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Shenandoah University women's lacrosse players Ainsley Buckner and Julianna Fohner have been selected to play in the 2025 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game, as announced by the coaches association on Wednesday morning.

Buckner, an attacker, scored a team-high 42 goals this season and added 24 assists for 66 points. The graduate student recorded 138 draw controls, en route to becoming the program's all-time leader in career draw controls with 319. The Springfield, Virginia native finishes off her five-year career with 182 goals, 100 assists, and 282 points in 89 career games.

On the defensive side of the ball, Fohner started in all 20 games and accumulated 53 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers, both of which ranked in the top five for the ODAC. The senior had five games with at least five ground balls and added 11 games with multiple caused turnovers.

Buckner and Fohner were each named IWLCA All-Region earlier this month after adding All-ODAC accolades to their resumes. The duo will represent the Blue All-Stars this weekend and are two of three ODAC players to make the game.

The all-star game will be played this Saturday, May 31st, at noon on Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.
