Isabelle Earns All-ODAC First Team Honors

FORREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) has announced its 2024 Men's Lacrosse All-ODAC teams, and Mark Isabelle has been named to the All-ODAC First Team following another standout season and a record-breaking career for the Hornets.

Isabelle becomes the first Hornet to earn All-ODAC First Team honors since Ben Judy in 2017, and only the fifth in program history to achieve this distinction.

He concludes his collegiate career with an impressive 86 games played and a career goals against average of 11.79. Isabelle recorded 1,070 saves, including 262 in his fifth year, setting a new single-season record for saves at Shenandoah. This season, he also became the ODAC's all-time leader in career saves.

Nationally, Isabelle ranks sixth all-time in NCAA Division III history for career saves, and seventh across all NCAA divisions.

In addition to his performance in goal, Isabelle collected 183 ground balls and caused 16 turnovers, while facing an astonishing 3,193 shots during his time in net.

Mark Isabelle leaves behind a legacy of excellence, etching his name into the Shenandoah, ODAC, and NCAA record books.
