Alayna Cole had two assists and an ace that put Shenandoah up 3-0 in the first, while multiple kills from Myah Watson and Riley Link made it 5-2. A block from Link and Ashlynn Spence helped Shenandoah take its largest lead of the set, 10-5. Trailing 11-8, the Eagles flipped the script with an 8-0 run to lead 15-11 at the technical timeout. Bridgewater closed out the set at 25-19.

Late in the frame, Spence provided SU with its second ace of the night for a 23-18 lead, but Bridgewater went on a 7-0 run, which ended the set and the match.

Shenandoah was led by Hylton's 10 kills, Cole's 14 assists, Spence's three blocks, and 10 digs from Samantha Shy.
