Men's Soccer Pushes Unbeaten Streak to Six Games

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six game with a 1-0 home ODAC win over Randolph-Macon College on Wednesday night. The last time SU went unbeaten in six straight games was in 2001.

Jarbin Rodriguez provided the lone goal of the game for the Hornets (4-2-5, 1-0-2 ODAC) in the second minute, while Aidan King-Miller made four saves against the Yellow Jackets (5-2-2-, 1-1-1).

RECAP

Following an Aidan King-Miller save 80 seconds into the contest, the Hornets transitioned down the field and scored on Jarbin Rodriguez's third goal of the season. SU has now outscored RMC 9-4 in the last four meetings between the teams.

King-Miller added two more saves in the first half, helping SU take the 1-0 lead into halftime. His final save of the game came in the 57th minute.

Shenandoah had three shots in the second half as they looked to extend its 1-0 lead, including a shot on target from Andrew Menendez off a corner kick.

Menendez joined Hatim Elkhasouani, Aidan Browne, and Dylan Johnson as the four SU field players to play the full 90.
