Men's Lacrosse Picked Sixth in ODAC Poll

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team was selected sixth in this year's ODAC Preseason Poll with 53 points in the rankings.

The University of Lynchburg and Washington and Lee University are narrowly separated at the top of the list, with LYN earning seven first-place votes to top the poll. Randolph-Macon College, Roanoke College, and Hampden-Sydney College sit in the three spots directly in front of SU.

Bridgewater College, Virginia Wesleyan University, Guilford College, Averett University, and Randolph College round out the final five spots in the rankings.

Shenandoah won four games in conference play in 2025 and won an ODAC first-round game, defeating VWU 9-6. 

This year, the Hornets' roster consists of 16 first-year players, nine sophomores, 12 juniors, and six seniors. Sam Poster, Cody Griffis, and Hunter Snow are this season's team captains for the Hornets.
