Women's Volleyball Unveils 2026 Schedule

WINCHESTER, Va. - Following its best season since 2015, the Shenandoah University women's volleyball team returns to the court for the 2026 season under second-year head coach Travis Abele.

The season starts for the Hornets on September 1 with a home contest against the University of Mary Washington at 6:30 p.m. SU then heads to Hood College and Notre Dame of Maryland University for single-match contests.

The rest of September sees multi-match days at Marymount, Hartwick College, and Guilford College. Shenandoah has road ODAC matches at Batten University, Randolph-Macon College, and Averett University. The first month of play wraps up with a home ODAC game against Eastern Mennonite University.

In the first weekend of October has Shenandoah hosts a home tri-match against Montgomery College-Rockville and Richard Bland College. The Hornets then go into a stretch of ODAC contests versus Washington and Lee University, Roanoke College, and Hollins University.

Stevenson University, Christopher Newport University, and Susquehanna University come to Winchester for a stretch of non-conference games, before SU goes back to ODAC play with a home game against the University of Lynchburg and Sweet Briar College.

The last five matches of SU's regular season see them play Randolph College, Bridgewater College, St. Mary's College of Maryland, Sweet Briar, and Regent University.
