BALTIMORE, Md. - Coming off a midweek win, Shenandoah women's soccer (1-1) traveled to Baltimore on Saturday to play Johns Hopkins (2-0) but fell just short of the victory, 1-2.

The first half saw all of the goals that would be scored in regulation. The Blue Jays struck early in the first half, Caroline Marcus finding the back of the Hornets' goal in the eighth minute.
Shenandoah's
Kaitlyn Wahl scored the lone goal of the day. Assisted by
Lauren Duffy, Wahl found the equalizer in the 31st minute to knot the score at 1-1.
Just three minutes later, Addi Dauler scored the go-ahead goal, which proved to be the game-winner for Johns Hopkins.
McKenna Newcome led the Hornets offensively with five shots, two of which were on goal. Shenandoah's two goalkeepers,
Morgan Musselman and
Molly Donaldson, split time between the posts — Musselman with two saves on the day while Donaldson recorded one.
