USA SOUTH CHAMPIONS
The 2005 Women's Lacrosse Team was the first team to win the Women's Lacrosse USA South Tournament after Greensboro had won it the previous four seasons—they were eliminated by Methodist in this year's tournament. The Hornets scored double digits in every game in the conference tournament, upsetting the top two seeds in the process.
